MaisTools

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 17, 2026

This policy explains what data MaisTools collects, how it is used, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collected

MaisTools does not collect personal data directly. There are no accounts, logins, or registrations of any kind. Almost all tools run entirely in your browser - no data is sent to MaisTools servers. The sole exception is the What Is My IP tool, which contacts external APIs (ipify.org and ipapi.co) to detect your IP address and approximate location; by using that tool you accept that your IP is shared with those services. In addition, the third-party analytics service used on this site (Google Analytics) may collect data such as cookies, IP address, browser type, and browsing behaviour.

Purpose of data processing

Cookies are used solely to analyse aggregate, anonymous site usage, with the aim of improving the service. No cookies are used for advertising.

Third parties with access

Google LLC (Analytics) - subject to Google's own privacy policy. ipify.org and ipapi.co - contacted only when you use the "What Is My IP" tool, subject to their own privacy policies. No other third parties receive your data.

Cookies and how to control them

MaisTools does not set its own cookies. The only cookies come from Google Analytics, used to measure aggregate, anonymous site usage. You can block or remove them at any time through your browser privacy settings, by blocking third-party cookies, or by installing Google's official Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking these cookies does not limit access to any tool.

Your rights under the GDPR

Since MaisTools does not store personal data, rights such as access, erasure, or portability do not apply to MaisTools directly. Those rights apply to the third-party services that do process data (Google Analytics, ipify.org, ipapi.co) - contact each service directly to exercise them.
