Frequently asked questions
- How are options separated?
- Each new line is an option. Empty lines and leading or trailing whitespace on each item are ignored. If you want to include commas, hyphens, or other separators inside an option, they're part of the text, not the separation.
- Is each pick independent?
- Yes. Each time you click, all options are available again. There's no memory between picks. If you want to go through the list without repeats, you'd have to manually remove the picked item before the next round.
- Can I use the tool for official drawings?
- For informal picks (choosing a movie, assigning chores), it works perfectly. For official drawings with prizes and transparency rules (public contests, large prize distribution), look for a platform with auditable generation and verifiable records.
