About this tool
Counts the time left until a date and time of your choice, updating live. Great for tracking deadlines, countdowns to events, trips, birthdays or launches. It also works the other way around: pick a past date and the tool shows how long ago it happened.
How to use
- Pick the target date and time in the first field.
- Give the event a name if you want to see at a glance what is being counted.

- Can I count to dates in the past?
- Yes. If you pick an earlier date, the tool shows how long ago the event happened instead of how long until it.
- Which time zone is used?
- Your device's. The date and time you pick match the local clock on your system.
- Does the count survive a page reload?
- The visible counter restarts on reload, but the calculation is the same: the target is a fixed moment, not a running timer. Enter the same date and the value is recomputed instantly.
