Frequently asked questions
- Which audio formats are supported?
- Common formats the browser understands: MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC. Rarer formats may not be supported. If your file won't open, consider converting it to MP3 or WAV first.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Works well for files up to a few minutes. Very long files (several hours) can be slow to process and to generate the visual waveform, especially on older devices. For huge files, consider dedicated tools.
- Can I cut multiple parts at once?
- This tool cuts one region per operation. To extract several parts, do one cut at a time and save the results separately. If you need to merge non-contiguous parts into one file, consider dedicated audio editing tools.
